County schools back in session Wednesday; second make up date announced
The Aiken County School District has announced schools will return on a two-hour delay Wednesday, meaning each school will open two hours after its regular time.
Previously, reports had schools opening at their regular times. This delay is a new development as of 5 p.m., Tuesday.
In addition, Friday, March 4, will be the day students will make up the snow day from today, Tuesday, Jan. 11.
The day had previously been scheduled as a teacher in-service day.
The snow day taken on Monday, Jan. 10 will be made up on Monday, Feb. 21, which was to be a day off in recognition of Presidents Day.
USC Aiken has announced that the campus will return to a regular schedule on Wednesday, with no delays.
Aiken Technical College will also open on its regular schedule.
