LETTER: Why Ron Paul is our only choice

Ron Paul stands for eliminating the unconstitutional Federal Reserve.

The Federal Reserve is a private, central bank. It is not the federal government. Federal Express also sounds like the federal government, yet they are not either. The amount of currency the Federal Reserve creates is also its secret.

Imagine the corruption. Mayer A. Rothschild, founder of the Rothschild international banking dynasty, stated: "Give me control over a nation's currency and I care not who makes its laws."

Milton Friedman said: "Any system which gives so much power and so much discretion to a few men, (so) that mistakes - excusable or not - can have such far reaching effects, is a bad system. It is a bad system to believers in freedom just because it gives a few men such power without any effective check by the body politic - this is the key political argument against an independent central bank..."

Congressman Louis McFadden stated: "We have, in this country, one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever known. I refer to the Federal Reserve Board. This evil institution has impoverished the people of the United States and has practically bankrupted our government. It has done this through the corrupt practices of the moneyed vultures who control it."
