David and Lisa Grubic of Birmingham, Ala., and Allen and Lisa Ritter of Aiken announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Grubic of Aiken, to Cameron Brent Allen of Aiken, a son of Bobby and Pamela Wilhite of Aiken. The wedding is planned for Aug. 23, 2008, at Rye Patch in Aiken.
The bride-elect is a maternal granddaughter of Dorothy Comeaux and the late Jeremy Comeaux of New Orleans, La., and a paternal granddaughter of the late David and Helen Grubic of Lorraine, Ohio. She is a 2003 graduate of South Aiken High School. She is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia with a degree in dental hygiene. She is employed by Dental Center West in Aiken.
The bridegroom-elect is a maternal grandson of Lee Stapleton and the late George Stapleton of Aiken. He is a 2003 graduate of South Aiken High School. He is a graduate of Aiken Technical College with a degree in occupational therapy. He is employed by the Aiken Electrical Cooperative.
