Erika Elizabeth Eles of North Augusta and Randolph Vincent Clarke of North Augusta were married May 3, 2008, at Hopelands Gardens, Aiken. The bride was given in marriage by her father and stepfather. The Rev. Robert Culbertson officiated.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Way and Mr. and Mrs. Laszlo Eles, all of Aiken. She is the granddaughter of Helen Duncan and the late Ralph Duncan of Batesburg, Laszlo Eles and the late Anna Eles of Leesville and Quinby and Jane Jowers of Williston.
The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Randolph M. Clarke of Aiken. He is the grandson of Rosa K. Russo and the late Vincent C. Russo of Edgefield and the late Randolph M. and Hilda Mathis Clarke of Gainesville, Fla.
Ms. Erika Smith of Batesburg, aunt of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ms. Ashley Clarke of Aiken, sister of the groom; Ms. Lynn Martin of Aiken, friend of the bride; and Miss Casey Way of Aiken, stepsister of the bride.
Mr. Randolph M. Clarke of Aiken, father of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Lamar Coles of Aiken, friend of the groom; Mr. Shaun Kent of Summerville, friend of the groom; Mr. Kevin Wilhelm of North Augusta, friend of the groom; and Mr. Barrett Way of Aiken, stepbrother of the bride.
Miss Layla Story of Aiken, niece of the groom, was the flower girl.
Master Mike Smith Jr. of Batesburg, cousin of the bride, was the ringbearer.
Following a reception at Rye Patch, the couple took a seven-day cruise to the Caribbean for their honeymoon. Randy and Erika will reside in North Augusta.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of South Aiken High School. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina Aiken with a degree in exercise science and a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia with a master's degree in physical therapy. She is employed by Hitchcock Healthcare of Aiken.
The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of South Aiken High School. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina Aiken with a degree in business administration. He is employed by the Progressive Insurance Company.
