Comment Title: Let's not lose focus
I think Walter was attempting to be a little comical in his response and I agree, he was racist. Since the previous poster admits her racism (ignorance) I guess it's not really an issue here. However, I do not believe it is being "nosey" when someone is concerned about offenders, especially the repeat ones, listed under Police Bookings. Regardless of race, when someone commits a crime, our tax dollars go to house, feed, provide medical care, etc for the criminal. That means less money that could be going for education for our children. I am also fully aware that some (very few) names listed here are found not guilty. In the case of the Hicksons it is quite obvious they are guilty. And since the poster who complained about people being nosey actually made a statement for all the public to see(did she even realize she did this?) that one of the gentlemen was guilty and indeed provided us with the motive, then it is safe to say he is guilty. Perhaps the authorities can use her statement here for their case. Concernng race, I am an African American. I find it disheartening when our own people make excuses for those who steal, kill, and provide drugs to our neighborhoods. I am especially offended when we see African Americans wasting money on t-shirts which defend known criminals (Cherry Tree Crossing in Augusta) or Stop Snitching. Barack Obama is the President now. Quit acting like you're a victim. I'm raising my son with the knowledge that he descended from mighty kings and queens in Africa. Not like a victim.

Comment Title: TIRED OF NOSEY PEOPLE - Really?
So you say you know one of the losers that committed armed robbery? REALLY? That shows what kind of person you are. And you say they had to do it because of Gov. Sanford's budget cuts. REALLY? Then why didn't you volunteer to be the victim and willing let these animals rob you? I mean, you're so concerned about them why let an innocent person have to pay? And they HAD to do it? REALLY? Okay, committing a crime for survival is one thing, but a violent crime? Why did it have to be violent? And finally, you blamed EVERYTHING on Gov. Sanford. REALLY? Well that shows your political leanings and that says a lot. Really...

Comment Title: MIND YOUR OWN BUISNESS!!!
WONDER IF GOV.STANFORD RELATED TO HIS WIFE WHO HE IS CHEATING ON MAYBE IF HE HAD ACCEPTED THE STIMULUS MONEY WE WOULD HAVE LESS JOB LAYOFFS..AND WOULD NOT HAVE TO SURVIVE BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY.. I HAPPEN TO KNOW ONE IS A RESULT OF A LAYOFF....

Comment Title: Hickson Family Honors
I wonder if Javier Hickson and Artrell Jabar Hickson are related. They were both charged with armed robbery, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. Hmmm...my hunch is they are. What a proud lineage the have to show for.
