Clyburn honored with health care award

S.C. Rep. Bill Clyburn, D-Aiken, has received the 2011 Community Health are Champion Award from the S.C. Primary Health Care Association.
He was cited for his leadership and commitment to supporting high-quality primary and preventive health care for medically underserved people.
Carolyn Emanuel-McCain, CEO of Rural Health Services (the Margaret J. Weston Community Health Center) was present at the annual State Policy and Issues Forum for the presentation to Clyburn.
