Charlsie Guimarin Jackson Fulwiler

ATHENS, Ga. -- Charlsie Fulwiler, 93 years young, passed this life on May 17, 2008, at her residence in Athens, Ga. Born in Olney, Texas, she was the daughter of Thomas Saunders and Lillie Thomas Guimarin. She was married to the father of her children, Edwin Harold Jackson, and then to William Fulwiler Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Ceanne Crane of Athens, Ga.; her son, Stanley G. Jackson of Aiken, S.C.; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was an artist, homemaker, the Auntie Mame and matriarch of her family.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 22, 2008, at 2:30 p.m. at Westover Memorial Park, Augusta Ga. A celebration of her life hosted by her family at 225 Riverview Road, Athens, Ga., will be on Saturday, May 24 at noon. All of her friends are invited.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, 636 Morris Turnpike, Suite 3A, Short Hills, NJ 07078 or the Athens YMCA Camp Fund, Hawthorne Ave., Athens, Ga.
