CHARLESTON (AP) -- Three men have been sentenced to life in prison in the shooting death of a teen outside a Lincolnville home nearly two years ago.
The (Charleston) Post and Courier reports that a jury deliberated less than three hours Friday before finding 21-year-old Leo Gadsden, 23-year-old Anthony Wilder and 22-year-old Keive Smith guilty of murder.
Prosecutors say the three men had burst into the home during a robbery in August 2006 when 19-year-old Sterling Spann drove up with a friend.
Authorities say the robbers then attacked the men, killing Spann and wounding the friend.
Prosecutors say it was nothing short of an execution.
The defendants didn't call any witnesses on their behalf.
