Less than 24 hours after an armed robbery at the convenience store on Huntsman Drive, three arrests have been made, said police.
Investigators have charged two adults and a 16-year-old with the holdup, saying a 25-year-old man and a teenager went into the store and a 23-year-old woman was waiting on the pair outside.
Freddie Dwayne Eubanks, 25, of the 100 block of D & L Drive in Clearwater, is charged with armed robbery.
Nicole Lagrange, 23, of the same address, is also charged with armed robbery.
The third suspect is a 16-year-old male.
He will be transported to Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia, said Lt. David Turno, a spokesperson for Aiken Public Safety.
The man is accused of using a baseball bat to threaten the clerk at the store.
Within an hour of the holdup, police downloaded surveillance footage from the security system and released the images to the media with the direction that anyone who could identify the suspects call CrimeStoppers with information.
Aiken Public Safety received a tip and then made the three arrests.
All three will be charged with armed robbery, he said.
The armed robbery was reported about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday after a man wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and khaki pants walked into the convenience store with a baseball bat, slammed the bat down on the counter and then took the money, police said.
The teenager was in the store at the same time, according to officials.
